Who would you choose if nobody was watching?

As an artist, I often hear people say they're not sure if a piece of art ‘works’ in their home.
But I don't think they're talking about the artwork.
I truly think they are wondering what it says about them.
Because art has never just been something we hang on a wall.
It’s IDENTITY.
The colours we choose, the homes we create, the clothes we wear. They are all tiny mirror reflections of who we are. Or maybe who we are trying to become.
It makes me wonder, how many of our choices are truly ours? How many of these choices are made because someone, somewhere might be watching.
I ask you, is emotional intelligence about having all the answers or is it simply having the courage to ask better questions of ourselves.
So I leave this one with you to reflect on,
If nobody was watching, what would you choose differently?
Ready?
