I'm an artist by profession, but if you asked the people closet to me what I spend most of my time thinking about, they probably wouldn't say art.

They'd say PEOPLE.

Why we do what we do.

Why some people feel like home while others leave us with a lesson to learn.

Why we are drawn to certain colours, places, certain people.

What is our definition of beauty.

Why we outgrow versions of ourselves.

I'm endlessly curious about emotional intelligence, human behaviour, identity and the quiet questions that don't always have answers.

ART just happens to be one of the ways I make sense of it all.

So this isn't a newsletter about art, it's about the conversations art starts.

Every now and then, I'll share a piece of my art because it's often where these thoughts begin. But mostly this is a place to explore the questions I feel compelled to ask. Because comfortable lies make terrible art.
